Review of Adidas ADIPURE Golf Shoes - By Alex Morton

Review of Adidas ADIPURE Golf Shoes - By Alex Morton

I was somewhat sceptical about the new ADIPURE golf shoes when I saw them advertised earlier this year. This comes from the dismay of having sent three pairs of the Adidas Tour 360 3.0 golf shoes back under complaint for both poor waterproof and build quality in the last two years. The first pair I bought, the other two pairs, the replacements, were both as poor on quality. So I had little good to say about Adidas’ golf shoe making ability.

However, I had the opportunity to try a pair of the much-awaited new, all white, ADIPURE shoes and I have to say bravo Adidas! These shoes are superb; they are so much more comfortable that the previous models, with a much higher standard of both build quality and materials used in the construction. Adidas have finally got rid of that awful ‘FitFoam’ inner shoe lining which smelt disgusting after use and have replaced it with a soft leather inner lining. Now the shoe base is much more stable with the improved ‘POWERBAND CHASIS’, with no gaps between front and rear cleat clusters, providing much less twisting during use. They are relatively lightweight in comparison to other rival shoes on the market due to the THiNTech ultra thin base layer and there is no pinching of toes where the full grain leather creases during movement. The adiPRENE base is soft and brilliantly adapted to absorb any shocks either when swinging or walking, giving the most comfortable shoes I that have worn in years.

As a Tour Professional, image is very important to me, and wearing these shoes during a tournament gives me the satisfaction of knowing the shoes not only look good but also have the added bonus of being super comfortable. A “win-win” situation I'm sure you'll agree! So don't hesitate, if you're in the market for new golf shoes, go with a pair of  Adidas ADIPURE’s, you won't be disappointed!
