Goodwood Golf Course.
Formed in 1892 and redeveloped in 2004 this charming course of just under 7,000 yards is a wonderful mixture of tree lined fairways and open heath land.
This tranquil location set amongst superb rolling country side is on the same estate as the famous horse and motor racing tracks. It has a great mix of undulating doglegs and open fairways offering some great views. Driving accuracy from the tee is an absolute must.
The signature 2nd hole encompasses all the joys of Goodwood. A par 4 of 390yards is played from an elevated tee giving a splendid view down a tree lined valley fairway with the second shot played to a generous green.
The Grade 1 listed clubhouse has been meticulously refurbished to offer the hungry golfer a choice of a snack before play, to a gourmet meal after in the splendid dinning room.
