Lying just off the A61, 2 miles south of Harrogate, Pannal is a true championship course well worthy of its status. With a SSS of 72 and 6622 yards in length, it has a good mixture of parkland and moorland terrain with plenty of gorse and heather, tree lined fairways and some spectacular views. Challenging for the low handicapper, it is not too daunting for those of lesser ability, so will appeal to golfers of all standards. The signature 17th hole is a real test, with triumph or tragedy equally possible, and the 18th a fitting finale as you head for the 19th.

At present host to one of the Regional Qualifiers for the Open, many famous names have graced the fairways. With excellent catering facilities and a warm welcome, this is a course that will provide a memorable day’s golf and to which you will want to return.
