A really challenging course with probably the weirdest golfing terrain you'll come across! The Monte Mayor golf course is laid out through gorges and negotiates through rocks and really wild vegetation - This is target golf with course rules that allow for lots of lost balls: Any lost ball is considered to be in a side water hazard! There are up to six bridges between tees and fairways.

Directions: Exit the main N340 coast road between Km 170 marker and Km 169 marker at Benhavis 'cambio de sentido', head north for 15Km past the Atayla Park Golf Club and Marbella Golf Club Resort.

The tourist guide says: The Montemayor Golf Club nestles in a lush mountain valley, a little way up in the hills!
