Golf Swing Practise Exercises No 1. Hitting with the feet Together
This is a great way to keep the body central. Sometimes the swing can develop a lateral sway, from too much body action in trying to hit the ball too hard. Or be just plagued with bad timing. Hitting balls with the feet together will help restore balance, with both body and arms swinging together in harmony.
Try first this golf swing tip with a no 7 iron. Remember this is not an exercise to hit the ball a long way but to help with rediscovering the ability to hit repetitive shots. The idea is to use a smooth three quarter swing allowing the hands and arms to swing freely in time with the turning of the body. Always try to hit the same spot or on the ground or brush the same bit of turf at impact as you swing backwards and forwards in your practise swing, this helps with hand, eye coordination.
When you start hitting golf balls you must keep balance at the end of your follow through. If there is any suggestion of a wobble or you have to widen your feet to maintain balance, you are trying to hit the ball too hard. After a while you will feel improved co-ordination together with a smoother rhythm and the shots will flow using this golf swing tip.
