Extremely rare, W. Dunn Snr. hand hammered gutty golf ball c.1850 - Stamped `DUNN 27` with logtitude lines made in a smooth gutty ball with equator line visible - mounted on a wooden shield inscribed in (faded) ink ` First Gutty - Presented May 1891 - 40 years old` retaining much of the original white finnish.

Estimated value (2006) £7000 - £8000. Realised £7100 at auction.
