W Park Musselburgh smf cleek with good makers stamp mark and neck crease to the 4 ½ hosel. Retaining most of the original hide grip with thick underlisting.

Rare Wm Park Patent smf round back cleek c1890 stamped Patent just below the good makers oval cleek mark - the shaft stamped J. H. Brook Spalding just below the full length hide grip with underlisting. Note See Jeff Ellis ""The Clubmakers Art"" p. 240 – note this was the first iron to be issued with a patent.
