Is This The Oldest Putter?
(And we don't mean Alan!)

Alan Barre, Semi-retired builder (and a hip golfer) found what could be the oldest putter head ever discovered.

Alan Barre, semi-retired builder (and a 'hip' golfer) found what could be the oldest putter head ever discovered.

Alan was walking around Bala Lake in Wales when he saw what he thought might be an old putter head in the water. The putter turned out to be a natural stone, shaped like an old drop nosed putter similar shape of the genuine one Alan is holding next to his 'Stone Age' find!

The Editor-in-chief, Roger Morton, is a little perplexed by the lie of this golf club.

Alan Barre, Semi-retired builder (and a hip golfer) found what could be the oldest putter head ever discovered.

If you have an unusual golf related find, send us a copy of the picture and a couple of words about it.
